Special National Day of Prayer calendar from May issue of Christian News Northwest Christians in Oregon and southwest Washington won't have too many excuses not to join in the 53rd annual National Day of Prayer, Thursday, May 6.
Literally scores of special prayer events will take place that day, or other days that week, throughout the region, according to Oregon chairman of the National Day of Prayer, James Autry or Portland, and Clark County, Wash., chair, Marilyn Melhorn.
